Hi, I'm JL Kalangian, Senior Onboarding Consultant at Sprout Social. Let's take a look at how you, as an advocate, can use Employee Advocacy to build your presence while supporting your company. Start with your settings — click your avatar and go to Personal Settings. Make sure your preferred accounts are connected properly. A best practice is to start with the network where you're already active and have an engaged audience. From the Content tab, you'll see your pre-approved posts and can review content you haven't shared yet. When you're ready to share, click on a topic and select where your admin allows you to share it. If the content is approved for multiple networks, you'll see those logos listed. If it's only approved for one network, you'll only see that option. From there, you can choose to send it now to post immediately or send it later. Another best practice: you don't need to share everything at once. Start with one or two posts per week — consistency is more powerful than volume. Employee Advocacy supports your company, but when done strategically, it also starts strengthening your own personal brand.
