Hi, my name is Bethany and in this Sprout Bites video, I'm going to walk you through how, as an employee or advocate, you can share stories through Employee Advocacy. Let's say I'm an advocate for XYZ Corp. On a weekly basis, I receive a newsletter with content that is surfaced automatically. I look through and see content related to XYZ Corp — maybe company news, maybe industry news — and I find a piece I'd like to read more about or share. I click on it and it takes me directly into Advocacy on that particular story. I can see how many points I would earn if gamification is turned on, and I choose which network I want to share it to. I select one of the message ideas that sounds most like me, add my own flavor, and then either post it now or choose to send it later. If I send it later, I can have Advocacy select the best time to publish it for me. I schedule my content and then head back to my feed to see what else is there and schedule more content in advance, so I maintain an active, consistent presence. I also have visibility into what my colleagues are sharing — maybe a post only has a few shares and I can help boost it, or maybe there's a high volume of shares on company content we're excited about and I want to keep the conversation going. I can also follow topics I'm interested in, which will be reflected in my weekly digest. These topics are often broken down by team, event, or product focus, giving me the ability to explore content that may go beyond my day-to-day role. I can check my stats to see what I've published and how many engagements and clicks my content has received, and I can check the leaderboard — if it's been turned on — to see where I stand compared to my peers and stay motivated to share more. At its core, it's a simple three-to-five step process: receive the content, click share, choose your caption, schedule it out, and optionally check on performance. Before you can start sharing, you'll need to connect your social profiles. Go to the avatar in the upper right corner and select Personal Settings. Under Social Profiles, you can do a one-time connection of your desired social media profiles. I've already connected my LinkedIn, but to connect another profile like X, just click Connect, enter your credentials, and you'll be taken back to Settings where you can confirm the connection is established and you're ready to go.
